In the Southwest Airlines rewards structuree, after earning a certain number of points (i.e. spending money) in a calendar year, one is eliglible to recieve a "Companiion Pass" which allows a designated guest to travel for only the cost of the fees and taxes ($5.60 each way). The Companiion Pass has been a partial secret to our traveling prowess, obtinaing one through credit card offers, and we are eager to continue.
